Concert Time USA is about the concert band, and any other musical organization we think you might enjoy. The programs will be in the form of a concert, with selections presented in much the same way as you might hear at a live concert. The Host Band for Concert Time USA will be The Heights Concert Band, from Harker Heights, Texas. In addition to that, we will have guest bands from the professional, military and educational fields. You will hear "The President's Own," The United States Marine Band, the U.S. Airforce Band, the U.S. Navy Band, and University and High School bands.
The Heights Concert Band is an adult volunteer band which has been playing free public concerts for more than 25 years. During that time, the band has built an extensive library of recorded band music, from which the Concert Time USA programs will be gathered.
You will hear marches by the likes of John Philip Sousa, Henry illmore, Karl King and many others. We will have music from Broadway to Beethoven, and from Hollywood to home towns. The wonderful variety of the programs will be highlighted by outstanding soloists, both instrumental and vocal.
